  One checkbox keeps every GIF under 9.8 MB. If the first pass is too heavy, the app quietly re‑renders—nudging down quality, shrinking frames, and trimming colours—until the file slides under the cap (or admits it needs fewer frames).
• Hexcraft on demand
  Hexcraft stacks a set of glitchy blend‑mode layers, borrowed from Bucket Bender, to pour extra shimmer, colour swaps, and texture over your animation. Flick the toggle in either Simple or Advanced view; the setting stays synced wherever you click.
• Instant image preview
  Choose a picture and it flashes onto the canvas right away—no dead air while Huemancer gears up.
• Friendlier file picker
  A big glowing “Choose Image” button replaces the fiddly file input, making mobile taps effortless.

• Faster default animation
  Simple mode now starts at 60 frames instead of 120, halving export time and file size unless you dial it back up.

  Controls grey out only during real processing, then spring back the moment the job’s done.
