Hue Bandit is LIVE

Hue Bandit is a browser-based tool that lets you rip color palettes from one image and apply them to another. You can build multi-keyframe hue animations, segment images into abstract shards, or just mess around and see what breaks in a beautiful way.

It started as a simple palette grabber but quickly spiraled. Now it’s a full-color sandbox with gradient tools, palette saving, and randomization options that actually produce good accidents. I’ve also been using it to make base layers for stuff in Bucket Bender, so if you’re into layered glitch work, this pairs well.

Runs fully in-browser, no install, no sign-in, free to use.

Built using ColorThief and d3-delaunay, plus a bunch of custom code to make things feel more alive and less sterile.
