Let’s Weave It

🚀 Launch Devlog #1 — G̸L̸Y̸P̸H̴ ̴G̴R̴I̸D̴ Is Live!
Hey glitch‑fam 👋Dawnia (aka Letsglitchit) here, sliding into your itch feed with fresh code fumes and neon after‑images.
What started as a scrappy side‑tool for Bucket Bender—just a quick way to spit out tileable glyph textures—snowballed into a full‑blown Hyperglyph Pattern Weaver. I kept stacking features "just for convenience"… and, well, you’re holding the result 🥳.
🧠 How It Began
I needed high‑res, seamless glyph grids to drop under Bucket Bender’s chaos fills. Copy‑pasting Zalgo text into Photoshop got old fast, so I hacked together a browser toy to:
- Type some Unicode weirdness.
- Tile it neatly.
- Export PNG.
Thirty late‑night commits later: gradient mapping, animation loops, Creative Spark randomizer, offline PWA support… you get the idea. Scope? Never met her.
✨ What’s In the Box
- Grid / Scatter / Wave / Circle layouts
- Zalgo corruption sliders + RGB split & shadow FX
- Gradient & palette cycling
- One‑click PNG + perfectly looping GIF export
- Creative Spark button for wild presets
- 50‑step undo, tiled preview, mobile‑first UI
These patterns still slot straight into Bucket Bender as killer fill layers, but they’re also perfect for album art, Twitch overlays, texture atlases—whatever needs a hit of typographic psychedelia.
🛠️ Under‑the‑Hood Nuggets
- Vanilla JS + Tailwind (no big frameworks)
- gif.js for animation encoding
- Stable random seeds so loops tile cleanly every time
Got a feature wish? Drop it in the comments or DM me on any social media (Letsglitchit everywhere)
⚡ Quick iOS Tip
Safari’s sandbox gets spicy with local file URLs. On iPhone/iPad, long‑press index.html → Share → Open in Microsoft Edge (or any Chromium‑based browser) for smooth sailing.
Thank you for checking out the launch! Show me what you weave and I’ll shout it from the glitch‑tops.
Stay chaotic 💜🌀
